The “Adapters” tab is used for selecting the local network adapter (Ethernet card) through which network monitoring is to be performed. At the start-up of nexeye©, the program automatically detects the installed network cards installed in the computer and lists the available adapters under the “adapters” tab.
If the computer has more than one Ethernet card, the one intended to be used for network monitoring must be chosen – only one card can be chosen. The Ethernet card can be changed at a later point if no data traffic is registered over the selected card.
