If the switch you are using in your network is not manageable, nexeye© can be utilised for monitoring the network by connecting a Hub between the switch and the router.
nexeye© shall in this case be installed and operated on a PC connected to any of the port of the Hub.
Advantage

| • | No need to change network topology |
Disadvantage
| • | The need to use an additional Hub |
| • | Not appropriate on networks with heavy traffic where the hub may constitute a “bottle-neck”. |
