Before you start you should check your system in order to ensure that that it fulfils the following minimum system requirements:

“Administrator” rights are required for installation and operation of nexeye©.
Although nexeye© Monitoring Enterprise may be installed in older Windows versions (such as Windows 95/98/98SE/ME) the programme will not run or function properly in these versions.
| o | Pentium 400 MHz or higher (Pentium III is the recommended minimum) |
| o | 1024 x 768 monitor resolution |
| o | At least one Network Card with promiscious mode support |
Important Notice!
The free disk space indicated above is the required minimum for the programme files and a minimum size of log file.
The user should be aware that the size of the log file will be directly dependent upon a) internet traffic of the network nexeye© is monitoring and; b) the features of nexeye© that is being utilised.
Accordingly the user should regularly review the size of the log file and ensure that obsolete log information is removed from the log file and/or ensure that sufficient disk space is allocated to the log file.
